The Best Thanksgiving Books for Young Readers

I fondly look forward to the joy of unpacking the Thanksgiving books and arranging them, as it always ignites a sense of gratitude within me. Reflecting on the past year, filled with both new experiences and challenging moments, deepens my appreciation for my family and fills me with gratitude for the time we shared together.

Sharing these beautifully illustrated and thoughtfully written books with Bristol and Sterling during our downtime in November fills me with gratitude for being their mom. I cherish the joy of sharing these special moments with them.

These books are among my favorite Thanksgiving reads that I’ve discovered. They carry a beautiful message of gratitude for children.

Every year, I would introduce new garlands, various cozy seasonal pillows, and a selection of Thanksgiving books, all with the same purpose: to promote a spirit of gratitude through reading. Some years posed significant challenges for our family, whether due to illness or financial struggles, yet I learned that there is always a space for thankfulness.

I hope you find inspiration for your unique reading space. Whether you’ve designed a cozy reading nook like I had in our previous home, or simply arranged book baskets in your child’s room for those spontaneous reading moments.

You can always explore the complete collection of books in my Amazon Storefront. There are numerous titles that encourage gratitude in your home, not just during the Thanksgiving season, but all year round.

XO, kRISTEN
