100+ Favorite Fall Books for Young Readers

One of the highlights of the year for me is the autumn season and the beautiful array of fall colors that accompany it. It’s truly delightful to experience the autumn beauty through the pages of the storybooks I share with my children. Since we moved into our new house, I haven’t had the chance to set up a new reading corner, so we’ve been reading in the kids’ beds before they drift off to sleep. Soon, I’ll have the shelves ready in their new area, all set to immerse ourselves in reading in a fresh reading nook.

Until then, I will share my bookshelf from past years and my latest list of favorite fall books for young readers to enjoy.

The Autumn Shelf

Simple, but cozy. This shelf is practical and provides a cozy spot to relax and enjoy these beautifully illustrated fall books. If you’re not sure which books to get first, I’ve put together a full book review of all the books on these shelves, hopefully this will help you decide which books you want for your fall bookshelves.

Hey Pumpkin Shelf

I adore the various shades of pink on this bookshelf. All the pretty colors & fun adventures fall brings makes for great reading. Throughout the years, I’ve gathered numerous decor pieces that are now hard to track down. However, there are plenty of new and similar items available that can truly enhance a cozy book nook and personalize it to reflect your unique style.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

This fall book display is a personal favorite of mine. It brings back memories of cozy days spent on the rug, reading these books with the kids for hours. I cherished the moments listening to them discuss the pictures and rereading our favorite stories together.
