Santa Hat Cinnamon Rolls

I’m convinced that you can never get tired of cinnamon rolls, which is why I chose to create another festive, Christmas-themed treat. I’m absolutely thrilled with how adorable the Cinnamon Roll Santa Hats turned out!

Not only are they delicious, but they also add a festive touch to any gathering. These fluffy rolls are expertly spiced with cinnamon and sugar (thanks to Annie’s), while the red icing artfully swirled on top, along with the white mini marshmallows, turns them into delightful little Santa hats. These treats are guaranteed to be a favorite at any holiday event, bringing warmth and sweetness with every bite. Whether paired with a steaming cup of cocoa or enjoyed as a delightful dessert after a festive meal, these Cinnamon Roll Santa Hats are a joyful addition to the season’s celebrations.

I enjoy discovering festive plates and napkins that enhance the ambiance and overall experience. One of the most charming designs I’ve come across is from @mymindseye, which offers the most delightful Christmas collections every year. Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Open the tube and remove the included icing packet.  I fill a large glass with hot water and drop the packet into it.  While you make the cinnamon rolls the icing will warm and thin, making it ready to apply.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll a cinnamon roll.  Starting at the top weave the roll in a hat shape making each row wider than the last so you are forming a triangle shape.
  4. Place on baking sheet.  Repeat, until you’ve created 5 hat shaped cinnamon rolls.
  5. Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
  6. As the cinnamon rolls bake, take the icing that came with them and mix in some red food gel, stirring well to combine.
  7. Once the cinnamon rolls are finished baking, take them off the baking sheet. Quickly frost each Santa hat, then add mini marshmallows to both the top and bottom to complete the festive look!
  8. Enjoy!
