Spaghetti Salad

Throughout the summer days, I’ve been trying out various pasta salad recipes. One of them is Spaghetti Salad, a dish my mom used to prepare when I was young. This salad brings back nostalgic memories, even though it’s been a while since I last had it.

The combination of al dente spaghetti, fresh vegetables, and zesty Italian dressing creates a delightful harmony of flavors and textures. I remember how my mom would add her own special touch with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a handful of cherry tomatoes, making it both colorful and delicious. The aroma of the salad would fill the kitchen, invoking a sense of warmth and comfort that only home-cooked meals can provide.

Ingredients for Spaghetti Salad:

  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 cup thin sliced salami 
  • 5.5 ounces sliced olives
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese cut into small cubes (optional) 
  • 16 ounces Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Salad Supreme Seasoning


  1. Boil water and Prepare Noodles. Cook spaghetti according to directions on the box to al dente. Drain, rinse in cool water.
  2. Cut and Combine. Add the peppers, onion, cucumber, black olives and the salami. 
  3. Add Dressing and Seasonings. When completely cooled transfer the spaghetti to a large bowl. Add the Italian dressing, Salad Supreme, and the parmesan cheese, stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Chill and Enjoy! Chill for 1 hour before serving.

This dish is perfect for preparing in advance. This gives the seasonings time to blend together, enhancing the flavors to perfection.
