If you’re looking for a comforting, flavorful meal that practically cooks itself, Crockpot Mississippi Pork Chops are the perfect choice. This easy-to-make dish combines tender pork chops with the savory flavors of ranch dressing, au jus gravy, and a hint of spice from the banana pepper rings.

With only six ingredients, this is an incredibly easy summer meal that you can set in the crockpot in the morning. It will be ready to enjoy after a hectic day at work, a fun day by the pool, or a beach vacation. This dish is sure to delight everyone and is certainly a favorite among my kids!

Here’s how you can create this mouthwatering meal:
Ingredients:
- 6-8 thick-cut pork chops
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 packet dried ranch seasoning
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
- 1 jar banana pepper rings (you can use less if you like)
Instructions:
- Prep the Pork. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the pork chops in the pan, ensuring not to overcrowd it; you may need to work in batches. Sear the chops on both sides, adding the remaining olive oil if necessary.
- Place Pork Chops in Crockpot. Place the pork chops in the bottom of your crockpot. Ensure they are spread out evenly to allow for even cooking.
- Season. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the pork chops.
- Add Flavor. Place whole banana pepper rings on top of the pork. Feel free to pour in ¼ – ½ cup of the banana pepper juice for extra punch.
- Add the Butter. Slice the butter into pieces and distribute it over the top of the pork and peppers. This will melt and create a rich, flavorful sauce as it cooks.
- Cook. Cover the crockpot and set it on low. Let it cook for 6-8 hours, or until the pork chops are tender and easily pull apart with a fork.
- Serve. Once done, serve the pork chops with the delicious sauce spooned over the top. They pair wonderfully with mashed potatoes or a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Project Refresh Glassware
I’m not only loving the new crockpot pork chop recipe, and I’m equally excited by my new glassware from Anthropologie! Life has been so busy that I haven’t had the chance to even use them until now. After hosting family during Easter, I discovered that most of my glassware was gone! While I know I broke a few in the dishwasher, I was shocked to find that I only had a few glasses left. This prompted me to do some research and invest in the pieces I truly love, as I seem to hold onto them until they mysteriously disappear!
My tea towel from Geometry has quickly become one of my favorites for everyday life. The quality is superb, and they add a festive touch to any day of the week. Don’t forget to use my discount code KRISTENSELLENTIN15 for a 15% discount on your order!
