60 Best St Patrick’s Day Books for Kids

March is just around the corner, which means it’s time to get out the St Patrick’s Day books to read about leprechauns, shamrocks, the history of the holiday and more with your kids.

Before I had kids I didn’t really know much about the holiday other than it’s associated with green, rainbows, pots of gold, lucky charms, and leprechauns. St Patrick’s Day books helped me learn along side my kids. We love the silly books about how to trap leprechauns and books with silly rhymes, but we also love the historical books that teach us why the holiday exists.

I have over 60 St Patrick’s Day Books that I’ve read and recommend linked here. There are board books for little ones and picture books for kids learning to read. I’ve also added books on rainbows and colors that can be fun to read during this magical holiday.

If you don’t have a lot of St Patrick’s Day books you can always supplement books about rainbows and colors on your bookshelves. They look so cute up there with the SPD books!

I love decorating my kids bookshelves for every holiday and season. It just makes it a whole vibe when you’re reading about the holiday. They love seeing the little touches I add to make a holiday more magical. I have the most fun curating the decor to go along with the books. You can shop my bookshelves & all the decor here. I’ve linked the shelves, the felt garland, pillows, fur bean bag and more.

XO, kRISTEN
